Hello, I’m Amy! I have been involved with both the online and local crafting communities for several years. I have worked as a blogger, entrepreneur, event planner, web designer, and, most recently, as a Digital Marketing Creative. I am a Sacramento wife and mama who is passionate about her local community. I am also a self-proclaimed party, crafting and dessert enthusiast.
I call myself a “Digital Marketing Creative” because, as a creative person, I focus on a creative approach to digital marketing. I have been developing and designing web sites professionally for 15+ years. Web development has changed drastically over the years with the introduction of smart phones and social media. Some say that websites are becoming extinct (eek!). I’m not sure about that but I do find myself drawn to other forms of digital marketing, particularly social media. Social media is a great way to introduce your brand to the masses, to engage with your customers, and to create a visually appealing presence that helps build your brand “personality.” For those reasons, I’ve decided to move beyond just web development and into the realm of digital marketing.
I feel that my wide range of interests and talents give me an advantage as a digital marketer. My web development experience allows me to develop all aspects of a brand’s digital identity seamlessly and cohesively from website to email marketing to social media. My passion for event planning is beneficial for in-person events because of my attention to detail and my knack for decorating and display. My crafting obsession has given me out of the box thinking and the ability to solve both logistic and design challenges.
Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I’d love to speak with you about how I can improve your digital marketing strategy.
